Looking for new technology? The annual I/ITSEC  – Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC), starting today in Orlando, FL, showcases simulation, education, modeling and training technology for the exchange of information among industry, the military, and the educational communities. This annual event was first flagged to us by one of our Members, as “where simulation really is”. Say no more, we are going to be there and report from the floor of the Convention on Wednesday, November 28th. A preliminary look at the Exhibitors’ list reveals the size and scope of the event: It’s huge. How huge? 417 Exhibitors packed in at Orlando’s Convention Center.

See the Floor Plan here.

The theme selected for this year’s conference, “Launching Innovation in Learning: Ready, Set, Disrupt,” called on the training, education, and simulation communities of practice to bring their latest capabilities and innovations; principally, their disruptive and game-changing technologies which enhance a user’s ability to learn.

Many of the exhibitors have been featured in other posts here at AFSBI: Brunner, Frasca and many others we meet around the world. But others are new to us and we look forward to introduce them to our Members. We will also be reporting live from the floor of the convention on our Facebook page. So make sure you follow us. Stay tuned for more soon!
